Default PsycoB4 - Another bad deal

Hey guys,

I just want to let you know that I made a deal with PsycoB4 on 9/09/2011 and have nothing to show for it.

He has told me that he works 20 hour days and doesn't have time to ship my item. Fine, please refund it.

A week later, "my brother shipped it but it came back". Fine, refund it.

Another week later, "I shipped it but it came back again'. Just refund it!

Another week later, " I sent you a refund through Paypal, but it went to the wrong address". Sent him my correct PP address.

It has gone on long enough.

I have had over 500 PP transactions this year and I haven't had any negative feedback.

Good luck,

Chris

Open a claim with Paypal ASAP, you don't have many days left, if you aren't beyond it already. (45 day limit)

Let them deal with it.

I don't think I can as he demanded payment as a gift. I will check into it though.

Yep, as I thought. You cannot dispute a transaction that was not listed as a purchase of goods or services.

Call paypal and explain the situation. I paid as a gift once. A month went by with no item, no refund, and the guy disappeared. I called paypal, told them I paid as a gift, the straightened it out and I got my refund.

That's why people should never, ever "pay as gift". You expose yourself to even more (needless) risk.

GL and I hope you get it worked out.

Nice catch. Fixed.

The sad part is it was only a $20 transaction. But if he'll do it over $20 he'll do it for more.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy

Sorry to hear about that Chris. You've done so much for the SCTE owners out there.

Default wow amazing!!!!

You might be a nice guy but what were you thinking?

here's what I got from your post...

you paid 20.00 bucks for a product that you never received.
the guy is a scumbag and kept your money.
you paid as a gift.
and now you are concerned you might not receive the money back.

AMAZING.......simply Amazing!!!!!!!!!

paypal takes like 3%. If you were to take 3% times 20.00 bucks you get like .60 cents. Now I am no genius but if the guy demanded payment as a gift a red flag woulda raised and i woulda paid 20.00 + .60 = $20.60

think of it as .60 cents worth of insurance.

I used to buy a cup of coffee for that. now i pay like 5 bucks for one.

It's only .60 cents man, So why would you risk it? just add it to what he demanded.

why would anyone (not just the OP) take a 20.00 dollar chance for the price of a cup on coffee in 1985.

Nice guy or not.....just doesn't make sense.

Good point. I've had very good luck buying from and selling to people here on RCTECH and did not check this forum for feedback on him either.

Honestly, the $20 isn't going to break my bank, I just hate getting taken.
