I just gotta ask, what is really wrong with this truck, do you have any pics of it without the scratched body, and that will tell you how much it was run, besides a body is what worth 30 bucks, and if your new to sc racing, they take a beating, thats why they make shoe-goo

how much did you pay for it anyways

race raider 04-26-2011 04:18 PM

How did the rest of the truck look.? Was it just the body that was beat up?
If the the guy does not know how to drive I can see the body looking like that after one run

It sucks that you think like that

The point is I paid for a truck with a diferent body

It was cracked and missing pain

Sellers should post pics of actual items

Weather or not its going to break later on that's completely up to me

dude are you BLIND?????

look at the pics they are 2 diferent trucks....we all deserve to get the item that we paid for
if he had used those pics to described it I could understand but he didn't he took pics of one truck and sent that dude a diferent one

Troubles Dad 04-26-2011 05:01 PM

I guess I was more or less looking at the shape of the wheels and tires, overall condition of the blitz and now that you point out the difference in the bodies, yea I can see your pissed off about getting a sh*tty body, but it might of been easier for the OP to post what the difference was, instead of stating what do you think, and honestly I think you should of went and messaged the seller about the body they sent, instead of posting here, but like my first post, do you have any pics of the truck WITHOUT the scratched body

I did contact the seller and no reply

I would gladly post pics of it without the body but that's not the point

I don't think you're getting it. I paid for a blitz with a decent body and got that instead

I guess you won't get it untill it happens to you

I get it, you paid for a blitz with a near perfect body and the seller sent you crap, so instead of letting people bash on them, your taking it to people on the internet, I guess you don't see that I am sided with you on this matter, as it does suck that the seller did this, but if you have not received an answer from them, is this the correct way to go about getting an answer, heck it might of been an oversight on their part, who knows, but I do know this, IF IT HAPPENED TO ME, I WOULD CONTACT THE SELLER, by sending repeated emails, pm messages, or phone calls, then at last resort, POSTING here for the world to see with his I.D. and then you would get justice

Lol I didn't even see you we're on his side....

The point is you got ripped off

Leave him feedback so we all know

If you paid with paypal dispute it if you want

harry697 04-26-2011 07:01 PM

The seller's pics are definitely deceitful. Looks to me like the same truck he sent you, but after a season of racing every weekend.

Did you buy the truck based only on the pics in the F/S ad, or did he email you more pics? Reason I ask is because there isn't a single pic of the body off. And unless he edited the item description after selling, there in no info at all about the truck.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to say it's your fault by any means. It's not cool at all to advertise an almost new truck and sell one that is well-used, pics or no pics.

He also hasn't logged on here since the 20th. Not sure how you tried to contact him, but it doesn't look like he would have seen any PM's as of yet.

edgar5bss 04-26-2011 08:46 PM

I paid for the truck on the 8th and just received it yesterday and only had contact with him after openning a claim with PP.

yes the only reason i bought it was because of the condition I saw the truck was in.

I am not debating the functionality of the truck at all truck works fine...

but he said it was ran once and as you can see that's not the case, what bothers me is that his pics were missleading. if he had posted the actual pics of the truck there is no way i would have bought the truck from him

I guess theres much i can do but leave feedback, so that's what I'll do

I have sent him 2 mssgs and no reply both PM and emails

nastystroker 04-26-2011 09:33 PM

the truck was run once, on its lid for 10 miles. That is a shame that someone takes a pic of the truck new and say hey i ran it once. I can understand a little scratches and bumps but come on.

that's what I'm saying........oh well I'll just try and find a new body for it

sorry just venting, I myself try and describe what I am selling to the best of my ability and take actual pics of the item, I guess I was expecting the same :weird:

I totally agree. If someone post pics of what they are selling I assume (yeah I know) that is the condition of the item at the time it is being sold. I would be pissed and at the very least would expect a refund to cover the body since there is obviously a HUGE difference in what was posted compared to what was received. I would also like to see the condition of the tires and the rest of the truck. You were buying what looked to be an almost new condition truck and from the looks of the body you did not get that. I know if I am selling a kit I will take pictures and then put it on the shelf. They way I drive it could go from the pictured condition to the received condition in a matter of minutes

Agreed 100%. That thing has been run far more than one time. Unless he considers "ran once" meaning that he ran one 24 hour enduro with it.
