Default question for all of you

I recently sold a turbo 30....the guy that received it is complaining about it not working right....i know it works fine...but because i have an excellant reputation on several boards and dont want to hurt that reputation....i told him to send it back and Id refund his money and the cost of shipping. He bought a faceplate for it already...probably installed it, and wants me to refund him for that too....then has the nerve to call me a theif for not wanting to refund him for that too...and is making several threats towards me....what should I do? should i just drop the issue? I dont like being threatened....and i dont like someone emailing me using foul language...its not something i will tolerate. THanks in advance.

I even offered to pay back the paypal fee....i told him i wanted only money orders...paypal was the only way he would pay. I had to use a friends account to do this, and told him he was responsible for the fee, which he agreed to.

I'm with 17driver.

If he continues to be abusive, contact his local police dept. There are laws against that.

he lives 2 hrs away...he threatened to show up and stick the turbo 30 somewhere.....

I have seen he already started posting something about it on hobbytalk...saying im making excuses not to refund his money....which is false...

His complaint is that while cycling a battery...it stops charging at 2220 seconds = 37 minutes....even for a 3300, thats a full charge.

yea...Im hoping ill have a few followers....ive got tons of posts on a ton of different message boards...and have completed hundreds of transactions, not to mention ebay...and he has maybe 20 posts (on hobbytalk). Its just stuff like this that really upsets me...especially because i offered him his money back...etc. The foul language and threats though....its tempting me to make a couple phone calls....

You are kidding me. What a complete jerkwad. I would not give his money back, get him to bring the charger over and show you that it is not working correctly.

if he threatned you tell him to show up and stick a baseball bat up his somewhere. hell tell him to come to my house i would be glad to do it. as for the amount of time it took to charge his battery

1. is your charger updated for 3300's
2. he battery that he is using might be shot and is not peaking like it used to.
3. he doesn't know what he is doing and set the delta peak wrong.
