JDLAUDIO: Help Requested
 

So, last time I spoke to Joe (jdlaudio) he said that he was going to think up a way to pay me back and would call me in a day or two. As it has been a week I gave him a call. I was particularly interested in talking to him as an rctech member had let me know that he just sold a losi 8ight-t (likely mine) on rcuniverse. Anyway, he answered and said that I had the wrong number. I said come on Joe, I know it's you and he hung up.

If anybody races in the Jackson MI area and can assist with dropping off filings at the local court house, etc. please let me know. Thanks I appreciate all the support I have received from this forum.

+1 I actually thought the guy might do the right thing sorry you have to deal with this soccerlaw is this guy on the list of scammers ?

Thank you. That's very helpful. I'm currently completing the affidavit and claim right now for small claims and I'll try and incorporate his propensity for "scamming" into the claim. I'll definitely mention this when I file the police report.

Again, if anybody lives near the Jackson, MI area I really would greatly appreciate some local assistance filing paper work, etc. Thanks again guys. I really hate that he's doing this on numerous threads to various people that have trusted him. My next stop is to post on the sites listed to warn others.

thats the only bad thing when a scammer gets booted from a forum is that you basically lose contact with him.

So do future victims, but the police & process servers still know how to knock on a door.:nod:

Soccerlaw, good luck with this. I am really glad you put him on the spot so that some of the rest of us could say what he had done to us too and maybe keep him from taking from anyone else on this site. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
I've seen several places where he posted about his wife being a cop. From what I remember of my phone conversations with him over our deal gone wrong,he told me his wife worked for animal control and said that basically made her a cop. I'm thinking animal control doesn't hardly have the same rights and duties as a regular law enforcement officer. Keep us posted on how things are working out.
