I called Mike today, and he actually answered the phone. Said he would call his dad to get the stuff out to me. Hope to hear from his dad in the next day or two.

If I get my car from the other thread, and Mike's dad comes through christmas will come early.

Good news on this one, Mike's dad clled and said he was boxing the stuff up to send out. His dad also said he wished I had just thrown his sorry butt in jail.

Eric is getting his stuff also.

I'll hopefully only have one more post to this thread saying I got the stuff.

I'm glad your getting your stuff back Froghead.
When i first got into the Buy/Sell/Trade thing i was a total sucker and i got taken for atleast $700 in stuff. i managed to got it all back but that was after almost 1 year !!!
I dont know why these morons think they can get away with this ! someone someday is going to catch them .and i've noticed that most of these scammers ship through the post office because you dont actualy get a tracking # unless you request it unlike Ups or Fedex.

If anyone needs help and your in a situation like this talk to me because a friend of mine works at the Fbi and works with the Mail Fraud section of the Usps

Mail Fraud is a serious crime and the penalties are extreme !

Default FINALLY

I finally recieved my stuff today. I can honestly say I still got screwed, the buggy is almost trash, the am radio has no reciever, the tires are crap and bald. The only decent thing in the box was a low end esc that looked fairly new.

I knew not to get my hopes up, but at least I have something to say "Look, this is the crap I spent $150 on"

I did recieve a call from the girls grandmother that mike was staying with this morning. She has kicked his sorry ass out, she says he's lazy and a leech. I guess what gos around comes around, and I hear it pretty damn cold up in PA right about now.

I know I have absolutely nothing to do with this thread but.... This Drama is better then any movie i've seen in month's. Anybody else get ripped off recently. You guy's should start some sort of support group or somthing. This stuff is funny... Sorry guy's I just thought I would put my 2 cents in.. Oh yeah. You guys should ready the thread about the guy who's trying to sell his "Aim" . That's some funny reading too.

Have you ever been ripped off by anyone online? It's pretty frustrating.

Tell you what zero, you send me $150, and wait for something in the mail that never shows up and tell me how that feels.

Frog
Are you talking about an older Losi XX4, with blue aluminum turnbuckles, cool airbrushed body, a NEW FMA esc, and a NEW Futaba AM Mag. Sport radio?

The body sounds correct, and yes the xx4 was an older one, the cvds are rusty, the esc looked fairly new, but the radio definitley was not new, it's in ok shape but not new. I didn't get the reciever with it so it's not usable (yet).

Why? Did you own it at one time?

frog
I sold Mike this Losi buggy awhile
back, and I added 3, or 4 sets of new
tires. Maybe his Dad, did not know
buggy tires from sedan tires, because
he had 2, or 3 different cars, buggys,
and, or trucks sitting in his garage,
the day he moved to PA. I was the
person to secure, and make sure the
Play Station 2 system got delivered to
the other fellow that was complaining
about getting "screwed" from the Mike
guy. I asked Mike if he was going to
get to the Post Office and send the
XX4 and he said "yes", his Dad was
going to take him, so I did not secure
it also. If Mike would have said
maybe, maybe not, I would have grabbed
the Losi, Radio (in box), spare tires,
NEW FMA "Typhoon" esc and got it to
you, like I did with the PS 2 system.
I don't remember if your Futaba radio
was 27, or 75, on the AM. Let me
know, I will be happy to send you a
receiver, and any Losi buggy tires
that I might have. I knew that Mike
was in a bind, and I have been ripped
in the past, and I would have spent my
own money getting you the XX4 on time,
but, that was then, this is now. I
have a REAL PROBLEM with ANYONE
getting screwed!

Default Consider this.

How about buying from a reputable hobby store, (HT USA or Tower) and get stuff you want to keep.... instead of trying to save some small amount of money and getting ripped off, pissed off and looking like a crybaby cheapskate. If you get burned its your fault no matter what because you got yourself into a mess. When it turns into "my stuff was better than what I got in return" nobody wins. CAVEAT EMPTOR ~Let the BUYER beware.

Onefastlap, I have bought and sold on the forum for a long time and have never had problems. I take it you have NEVER bought anything from someone on this site? This is a very good site for picking something up at a reasonable price fom someone who doesnt want or need what they are selling.

So shut your friggin pie whole, if you have money to burn, my paypal address is [email protected]

Hey Froggey~ I have bought and sold on the net without any problem, its just that what happens when a trade goes wrong seems to make everyone involved look bad. Not picking on you personally, I'm sure not loaded with money but pie hole will stay open.

I'm glad you finally got the stuff even if it wasn't in the best condition and not all there. It seems to be getting worse doing trades on the net. I'm only doing deals now with people I've dealt with before or people I know have dealt with before.
