ive learned that im not sure i can actually trust buying any used products, atleast lipos for now. bought one from some kid, and the voltage is all f'ed up. pretty much think its shot, now im out 70 bucks.

Tell me about it. I purchased a used motor a few months back but I didn't inspect it untill recently. It has a chunk missing out of the piston and the silicone is loose on the crank. The person said it was in good shape

I think I am done buying much stuff used, its just the new stuff cost a lot more.

I do understand the trust issue..I will only deal with people that I trust when buying used..Buying a used nitro motor from someone you know is a risk and an even bigger one if you dont know the person..with that said..The best motor I have ever bought was used..had one gallon of fuel through it..and i have 9 gallons on the motor right now and it's still running strong..so i know that their are good motors out their..On the batteries..I usually dont buy used batteries..to many things can go wrong with them..I have sold some used packs ($5) but they were just practice packs..I do take care of my packs and never abuse them..if you buy packs from me..guaranteed to be good..it's just sad to see so many scum bags taking advantage of people..on some stuff I would rather they just riped me off..you have better odds of getting justice than if they send you a defective product..their word against yours..
