Default Bad Deal

Sorry that Im doing this on this board, but Id like everyone to see it! I bought a Pro 3 from iRaceInc (AKA Jack Clouse) I sent him 125.00 next day air, and he emailed me confirming that he got the money order 2 weeks ago, and he has disapeared! No return Phone calls, no return emails, and his Companion hung up on me and called me names when I called his house to confront him about the deal . Sorry Im ranting, but this SUCKS! Thanks

this kinda ppl disgraces other sellers..
sorry to hear a newbie user got conned.
well since u got his name..might as well make it smelly
but i gotta ask:125 for a Pro3?in what hop-up stage?
if it was too good to be true then u should've ask for references.

I dont think theres anything you can do. If you bought the item in e-bay you might have a chance since everything their is registered but even though con artist still out there..Like lee82gx said, this is a disgrace to all of us sellers. If the deal is good to be true then ask for a COD only way to go for both parties.

I leave in KC, Mo. area and Farmington is quite a long way from me so I cant go and bet him up for you..Only thing I can do to help you out is to go to the MO. R/C thread in SGRID.COM and advertise for you. Or maybe they could help you out...Not unless you want to do it yourself...The site is SGRID.COM go to item list and then off-road list..Good luck...

Quite a few of these guys live in St. Louis and the surronding area. They may be of some help.

Actually, if you have his address and phone number, you can contact HIS local police department and ask if they have a division that investigates internet fraud. If you have copies of emails between you two, and a copy or number of the money order you can usually file a complaint. Sometimes, if you speak nicely enough to the police, they will go and visit the perpetrator and that usually resolves everything. Also, I understand that if you use the US postal service to deliver the money order, the whole thing fall under the jusidiction of a federal crime of internet fraud. If you look on the Trader Feedback forum, there is lots of info of who to contact. Good luck.

I hate to see this happen because it makes me afraid to deal with people and makes others afraid to deal with me. OH well, I hope there is a resolution for you.
