Pink Sleeve = NO Show!
 

We made a deal for him to come pick up my GTB and 5.5 motor on Friday race night. A cash deal. He asked a LOT of questions, one after another after another and i answered them all. NO problem. FRiday comes and goes, never showed up to pick it up at track and I was there for 6 hours. PM'd here and also on another forum I know he uses and finally I get a reply on Monday night or Tuesday morning that says "I still want it". NO apologies no explanation.

I sold it to the next guy in line. Just be careful not to throw away a sale if this guys MO is agreeing to buy things, but not coming through, which I have NO idea except my own experience.

My questions is this. If you placed an ad in the local paper for an item and someone called saying they would take it, then never showed up, would you then place another ad saying they did'nt? Sell to the first person who shows the cash instead of crying about it here !!!

OUCH!!!! I think maybe the post was for a learning experience rather than to cry.

The ad runs until it sells :rolleyes: As a seller I found this post useful. I won't agree to wait on payment from Pink Sleeve, Thanks Ray!! ;)
