Update...

The ball is starting to roll in a major way with the authorities. I will keep you all posted if I here any more major developments. There were so many of us that it is bigger than even the postings on this board and others.

For the admins on this board... any IP info for the aliases would be benificial and only pile on to the amount of stuff we already have.

For track directors, pro series, etc... I feel it is detrimental to this sport if we continue to let him sign up and race. I believe a permanent ban is in order... anyone with any ideas about this?

Its almost impossible to ban him from racing. You could ban him from racing associations like the pro series and roar. About the ip. I am pretty sure that no one has a permanent ip address. I think you have to pay like 5 dollars a month to get a permanent ip address. Depending on your isp the last few digits will change every so often. Sometimes daily, sometime every few weeks. If a mod wants to take the ip's and put it into a thing online which will give you a city and state, that would be more efficient than just matching numbers.

IP addressses are complex. Depending on the ISP, it may or may not change on a frequent basis. The one I personally am on changes very seldomly, but always stays within a certain range.

Meaning if my IP address is 123.456.789 then tomorrow my IP address may be 123.456.799 or .710 or .879. Other ISP's like dial-up change every time you sign in during the day. Those are hard to track and match up - however sometimes it's possible. You can IP trace to a city, but that doesn't do very much. If you trace my IP address, it will show up as "Madison, Wi" ( i traced my IP address from the last post I made on this thread ). First off, I live in Illinois, and secondly - anyone that uses the same ISP as I do in this area traces back to Madison.

I'll go through all the usernames listed and double check IP's tomorrow and see what goes where. It's 3:30am here, and I'm done for the night!

LOL. Don't forget fun things like cable modems, which have a dynamic IP address. And if I hook up my wireless router, then the first 3 digts will change also. If you can get his ISP to cooperate that's your best bet.
