Default Sick of people crying......

Thing that gets me is so many people fall for others pranks. I mean, New person joins the site...First post they are selling a loaded out revo...$300 shipped. The madness begins, The guys shows pics of someone elses ride. Joe blow can't pass the deal up, So he sends the guy the money....Guess what, Nothing never shows up. Everyone on all these r/c sites need to start using better judgement. I will not deal with the person unless they have a pretty good amount of posts and have some feedback here and there. Trades, Why in the hell would you trade with someone you dont know? I cant speak for anyone else, But I know my mbx5 I paid nearly $600 for is not going to some guy in new york. It's called COMMON SENSE, And untill you get sick of getting ripped off, Or someone trades you junk....You will never learn

Awww geez... give me a break...

Sure you have to use common sense, but as far as only dealing with people who have traded/sold a lot, boy that's a pretty cynical attitude.

So if I (being a nice all-around person, and very honest seller) post something here for the first time... you will not even consider purchasing from me? Then that is your loss...

Sorry if you have been burned before, but it does *not* mean that any new person is untrustworthy.

Wouldnt be a loss because I would still have my money. I'm not saying every person is that way. And yes, Me personally will not buy from someone who just joined up and has the deal of a lifetime. I'm talking up in the hundred + dollar range. Not $5 for diff oils or whatever. I'm sure many people will read my post and start flaming, Thats their problem. I mainly posted this for people to read it and hopefully make them think about what they are buying/trading. This post was in no way meant to piss people off. Just be careful guys.

Hi Crash...

Okay, that's a fair enough statement (at the end)...
Thanks for clarifying... it's really hard to read tone in a posting or e-mail.

I understand the point you are trying to make.
People should be wary, but should not automatically dismiss new sellers/buyers.

I have been on the board for a while, and was really active in the Serpent 710 threads. Ask most people there (Sow&Steady, Julius, and others) and they will let you know that I am a very okay person. I did sell my S710 to a fellow here and sent it far (Chile), and all went super-smooth...

But because I only have a small amount of transactions here, it would seem you would not want to consider anything I had to sell? Hey, that's anyone's perogative... but I think I would be really upset if you were to go around to people and say, "Hey, don't deal with him, he hasn't sold much here before."

It's a Catch-22 situation... how is someone supposed to build up a reputation as a good trader if people don't want to deal with him/her because s/he hasn't sold much?

(Sorry it took me so long to get to my point... )

Cheers!

i agree i have passed up what looked to be great deals...just because of post count...

i know everyone hs to start somewhere but some people are on here just to make a quick buck then leave...when they get busted on it they come back with a different name....

ive had good fortune and only had 2 deals go bad and they where both under $40...

and so far i have never had a deal gone bad on my end....

its all common sense in here and you have to use good judgement.....

I agree man I say we should not deal with anyone with 100 posts or under I almost got burnt from a guy with 20 posts, but it looks like he burnt 2 other folks since I didnt send my money to him and the other two did. been a month now they still havent got their stuff.....I know the owner/mods say other wise.
