This. I have about 20 transactions done through here and you can see how few people bother to leave any type of feedback.

My point exactly. So if I were to do a deal with you and I look at your number of posts and trader rating, does it justify me being cautious about the transaction? Probably shouldn't.
In the end I think if you stick to what the site says, use paypal, don't send money as a gift, etc, then all you can do is trust things will go okay.

How many things have you sold on here? Out of those 20 transactions that you claim you've only left feedback for 8....

My question would be........was it the first 8 transactions or the last 8 of the 20? If it were the first 8 then can you really blame the guy for not leaving any for the next 12? I think I would get a little fed up with it myself.

If you're going to complain about feedback left vs. received (Costanza) he should have left some for all the transactions that he claimed. Other wise he's no better than those who leave none.

100+ feedback as a buyer means almost nothing to ME if at some point I'm the buyer and it's the first time you're selling on here. You in my eyes are a complete rookie and have earned almost no trust.

Something else to keep in mind,, often a scammer will open multiple accounts for the purpose of leave fake feedback for the scam account,, dig deep and make sure the feedback is from established accounts,, not also only from brand new members.

Yes, it is a scam. I had 2 messages come through to me, same format but different names both times.

So I get another message from this joker today (see below). Is there some way I can block his messages? Can someone give this guy a timeout or something?
How about just plain boot him? Is that warranted or should we wait until he snows someone else into some sucker deal?

Are you saying the same guy sent you the same message days later? Either way, I booted him.

Post and let me know if any of you get the same type of message from new users in the future. We can't try and stop these guys if you don't let us know.

Thank you

I don't know if that prevents PM's though. In threads It will stop you from seeing what they post, but not that they posted.

In general, if something is fishy or doesn't add up just move on.

I also insist on getting pictures of the actual item I am looking to buy. If they can't get pictures quickly then I move on. Its not worth the risk of dealing with a shady character, there are plenty out there.
