Hahaha... Nway, where r u from?
Honestly, Don't have to use any D-Box for any drift-spec chassis. It's all depend on our skill.
I would love to try the HPI Sprint 2 Drift but u buy it for me lh. Then I'll let u know either it's must use the D-Box or not to Drift it..

kit - u can choose a wide range of brands like yokomo, hot bodies, hpi , tamiya , n even touring cars also can be use for drifting like sakura zero..for newbies there r also the cheaper brands to get started with like hsp, HL n etc.

servo - there r many different difference in every servo although usul sja sma haha ada yg biasa aja, ada yg high torque n high speed..lau drift kai yg biasa pun bleh, kai yg high speed lg best

motor n esc - kai ja combo set yg 9 turn sal most org d sini makai a2 n most os the tournaments pun control motor using the 9t motor

battery - nowadays kmi bnyk dh makai lipo batteries, nda g bnyk yg makai sub-c battery..ani pun bnyk jua brand kn d pilih

dtg ja k stdm ptg2 d track atas (on-road) or mlm2 d track bwh jambatan..sini ramai yg main ni..nda ko kn kna kidnap ni,jgn sja ko dtg sna ambur2kn duit dpn kmi,aku th yg awal merungkup ko 2 hahahahaha

btw if ko k stdm underground ko cari masta g.Birin, masta g.Zoff n masta g.Ash..dorg ani yg 'the guru' in drifting...

peace yo!!

If u got more budget yokomo dmax special (shaft drive) or DRB (belt drive) is one of the best out there other then pro-d n vdf...hehe

then get a dx3s, a a/c & d/c charger , arcon lipo 5500 50c battery x 2pcs , hobby wing 60a 9t motor wiv esc , hitec high speed servo or savox and hobby pro o degree tyre or hpi t drft 4406 then more particle then go race ....
then become champiogn...wah lah....dream come true

Newbie, to be honestly, any chassis will drift after a few things setting up, just look at those rc drifters playing at CH Hobby track, underground or wherever you seen it, not all of them are into some fancy chassis, i know a dude from DBDT team started from cheap lighting chassis & he's improving fast not from chassis but from practicing & meet up with the pros for informations, now he wanna go to the extreme level, so now he is a good countersteer drifter with Yokomo chassis.

Whats my point is, no matter what chassis you have, doesnt really matter, key word is 'practice, practice & practice'.

Hope you catch the ball......
