There's a hardware shop after Jolibee in Delima. I think there are two but there is only one of them that sells "STANLEY" brand tools. They still have digital calipers that can measure up to .00mm which imo is good enuf for most applications. should cost around B$38

What model is the Futaba ESC? Refer to the ESC instruction manual, if not available, go to the futaba-rc.com website and you can check your ESC specs there

If you fiddle too much on the motor shaft while trying to remove a stubborn pinion gear, you can throw off the microseals in the motor bearings. The Macguyver way would be to drill out the hex grub screw to accommodate a larger screw and this will work, it just takes time. another way to do this without putting undue on yr motor shaft bearings is to get a pinion puller. Go to any good hardware store and find a mini gear puller (looks like a claw type with screws), intall this on yr motor and it'll remove yr pinion/gear in seconds. its good to have this specialty type of tools to get out of these situations. hope this helps
