Hi Mark,
Just gave my V- spec a quick run after you did a stage 4. It seems to be impresive at this stage. Does the tune have to be a lot different than the stock? i guess more power means more fuel. I can tune but still learning. Thanks for your fantastic service and price. Mark.. |
are skylines in yet?

V Specs modded with the right fuel and EPA setting should get between 11 and 12 mins to a 125 ml tank. its a common misconception that modified means more fuel. Its most times the opposite. i noticed with the high compression it seemed to foul up the plug quicker, or maybe that's just me because it was being broken in, and it was pritty rich, anyway not sure. It's going fine now, if anything a tad on the rich side low down. |
Hey Tom are you running a buggy at livo? I just got one and i'm waiting on some parts to get it running but will be out there too soon enough. I'm keen to see how the go tech goes cos I might get massive to hook me up with one in a few months too - provided i like the dirty stuff
p.s. Are the skylines in yet? :tire: |

p.s. Are the skylines in yet? :tire: my recommendation is get the turbo button head (don't understand why gotech provides a oldschool non turbo plug head) and also get some more head spacers for the engine. get the silver headshim and another copper shim, or 2. this will make the engine easier to break in and reduce the stupid amount of compression they have when they are new. The go's take a while to break in, so be patient. it only seems to come alive after 7 or 8 litres. |

Re Go Tech
Turbo and Standard are optional so its up to the end user as to what they prefer Yes they have way too much copm new so yes do add a shim or 2 , i have spoken to the factory and they are addressing this but its no big deal just shim up Engine mods is explained on my site But ill tell ya anyway We map the motor, then graph its timings, we then re interpret the timings into a theory graph , then we change the timings in theory and see what it does , when we are happy with the new timings we then re interpret this into what to cut from where. Simple ! Once someone gets an engine modded by us when its time to change sleeve or crank you can send it back to us to re cut it for $40 AUD + Shipping. Cheesles MnM |
Hey nitro heads, need a bit of help. My LRP has been leaking fuel from the carby lately, I've taken it off twice already and tightened it right up (with pliers) but it still leaks. Am i doing something wrong or do i just need to get the right size wrench and make it tight as all hell?
