discharging problem

Got myself a duratrax ICE charger and am practicing discharging batteries (haven't got around to charging one yet ) . I've got some gp3300 cells here that I ran in the car and I've put them on the ICE charger for discharge problem is I've selected 10amp discharge but while it's discharging it's not even displaying 1amp only around the 0.60- 0.20 amp range .

Is this alright or is there something wrong also how long roughly should it take to discharge the pack down to 5.4volts?.

cheers

I am having a similar problem with mine...... i set it to 10 amp discharge with a 6 cell GP3300 pack attached and it only discharges at 8 to 8.5 amps. but if i drop the discharge to 8amps it will discharge at 9.5 amps...... and it wont cut out either i had it say it discharged 15000mh+ out of a 6 cell GP3300 pack while i was at TCS and this was after a race too.....

Just had a go at charging a pack now set it to 5amps and the display is only showing 0.10amps as it's charging .

check u are not in AUTOMATIC mode. as this will let the charger automatically try to gues what charge/discharge to do...
