yea.

it's a pity all the racing in melb is on sundays, in brisbane there was one stage where you could race friday night, saturday, and sunday in 1 weekend.

Sounds pretty similiar to NSW from what I've heard. They have racing on quite a lot, certainly more then once a week as Victoria have it (unless you also race at Boronia on Wednesday nights).

Yes the loyal Serpent for life

I have purchased a Losi BK2 last week, and finished building it last night. Im trying to organise most of the stuff I need like extra sets of tyres, motors and other bits.

I will be at Knox this weekend for sure.

Cheers

hoppers is about 25-30 mins for me

also knox clashes with tftr for onroad

I travelled to Knoxfield this weekend and it took me 45minutes with traffic. Jay from Sunbury I wouldnt do it either. Isnt Knox on the opposite weekend to TFTR, I might be wrong.

yea it's on opposite to tftr which clashes with keilor onroad, i think it'd be a bit of a waste to miss keilor onroad since it's my closest track.

Hopefully the new Management can get the facility viable.
The location is good, and there is heaps of room.

Where can we get 10 tons of clay? Does any one work in a brick factory?

Cheers

From memory when we built the tracks at the Melbourne Showgrounds (how many people remember racing there?) and at the Exhibition Buildings (yes we ran there too!) we used granitic sand to build the tracks?

I might have to call Les Bone, he'll remember, because he organised it!

Bring in the sand, get Tim McClure down from Castlemaine to sculpt it, and we're set!
