Default Tamworth Radio Control Car Club (TRCCC)

Hi all.

As the TRCCC has been running for quite a few years now, its about time it had its own thread.

We race mainly electric and nitro onroad. However we do have a small offroad track and would race offroad if there were enough numbers to do so.

Race days are, 1st Sunday is Onroad and 3rd Sunday is Offroad of each month, with races starting at 10am.

The track is located at Nemingha, on The Back Kootingal rd. Approx 10mins east of Tamworth.

Now for our club members, info and updates to whats happening in the club will be posted here as the need arises.

Please ring 0408242850 or email [email protected]
if you require any additional info.

Regards
Todd

Everyone loves baby pictures... And I'm quite partial to hijacking threads!

Congrats on the little man, to you both. Good to hear all is good. I think Lewis may look a fair bit like you at this stage.

It would be awsome if we can get more numbers for Tam Cup 2012.

As for fan mail, i hope not.

Default Open Day Flyer

Here is a flyer for the open day to be held on the 27th november.

Our main aim of the open day is to let people have ago of an rc car at our track, even if they dont have one. Which in turn, hopefully people get interested in rc cars and maybe racing, and then the club will grow.

A few years back this worked a treat. We went from just 3 club members to a club again.

So if your in the Tamworth area and have rc cars sitting in the back of a cupboard! Bring them down for a run.

Cheers

Todd

Default Open Day is ON

Hi all.

Well its finally stopped raining. So the OPEN DAY will be happening tomorrow.

The onroad track is all mowed and ready for some action.

However the offroad track has large puddles on it and maybe not usable until late tomorrow. And only if the water disapears. Will have to wait and see.

We have the Tamworth RC Drifters coming along to show some of their sidways action. Should be very good to see.

Sunny weather is predicted all day.

I hope we get a good roll up.

Cheers
Todd

its on every second sunday and the offroad isnt that big at the moment because the track isnt big enough and the club doesnt have that sort of money to fix it so it will probably just stay as a onroad club

Nice ive got a xray 808, ill try to motivate some of my mates and come down for a race. How big is your track?. As soon as we get sorted, ill let you know were comming. Were also in the process of starting a off road track in Dubbo. We just got some land near the airport and will start building a track in January.
