Youre aiming too low, I expect from a gun driver like yourself to gun MSX driver, Besercoe.

In the heat of Dec the only tires you would use are Sorex 36. Anything softer will get chewed up in no time.

Have you ever tried foams?

i have used foams before without as much sucess as rubber. I keep chunking them, coning them, and hate adjsuting ratios all day.... so will it be a battle between rubber and foams, or will it be a foam day?

probably a foam day to be honest, the heat will probably be in the mid 20's and the asphalt will be easy 60 degrees.

-if you are conning your foams, increase the camber, i usually run 3 maybe even 4 degrees on the rear and 2 to 2.5 on the front, just adjust it until it doesn't cone.
-if you are chunking them round the outside edge

Foams are not the complex thing many try to make them out to be, basic tire roation, putting CA on any lifting edges, and adjusting camber so that they wear flat will get you 90% of the way there.

If you need help come and have a chat.
