Besides, when is the last time you seen a mach truck or any truck with its exhausts covered!!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if your new paint scheme has the windows blacked out then by the rules the body can not be used.
AARMCC
5.3.6 APPEARANCE
5.3.6 c) Windows to remain transparent. Bodies with windows painted out will not be accepted.
Pre-painted ready-to-run bodies the only exception to this rule.
5.3.6 d) No greater than 50% of front window to be removed.
5.3.6 e) Left and right hand side windows can be removed 100%.

Not trying to start an arguement again just quoting the rules.

Its not blacked out dude, Although the pic may look like it, it is tinted, still see through especially in daylight, The paint is called " smoke", not black paint. Is That okay.
Personally I think its a dumb ass rule. Who cares anyway. What if your car gets covered in mud and you cant even see what colour the car is. What then?? Were not sitting in the cars and need to look out

What's the rule there for? So what colour is the car below??

Well I ran the Nationals at Marybrough just gone with tinted windows on my stadium and was never asked or questioned about it. NOT a RTR either.

A very stupid rule as RTR shells are allowed.. It will only be enforced if a sore looser puts in a protest to the race officals..

Until you raised this important point I hadn't really looked if they were black or tinted. Probably reflects the importance of the rule.

Is the OFNA X1 CRT a truggy or monster truck. I'm only asking as I heard there is one competing in MT class and there are drivers also competing with them in Truggy class???

The Ofna home page says its a MT but the description of setup says clearly "makes truggy handle better". I'm confused, can anyone shed light on this.

It seems AARCMCC left out a very important ruling which defines a MT to a truggy. Here is The ROAR definition.

Monster Trucks are defined by fully compressing the vehicle’s suspension and measuring
a minimum of 1.5” from the flat surface to the underside of the engine. Two or three
speed gear reduction transmissions are required. Differentials residing inside the
transmission are permitted. All reverse gearing must be disabled for racing.

The X1 CRT has a centre diff not a transmission. A transmission is there to provide gear reduction from a higher speed motor to a slower but more forceful output. Everyone goes on about body style must represent a Monster truck or clear windows and this bloke is allowed to run a Truggy in MT class. WTF!

AUSTRALIAN CONSTRUCTION RULES FOR 1/8th Truggy. Last amended 07/01/07
5.2 DEFINITION

5.2.1 f) Drive train is to consist of three buggy style differentials.
5.2.1 g) Single speed gearbox only. No multiple speed gearboxes allowed.

According to this its a truggy.

Hi, Is there a race on next weekend? If so, what are the chances of there being a full grid of electric cars??
