Hi guys, I talked to Dylan H Yesturday and he said that racing was on this weekend, but i have just talked to a fello BDR member and he thinks not so. Could you please confirm if your racing this weekend....we have a few keen fellows wanting race Stadium trucks.

Hi Zac.
It was decided this weekend that we would have race meets for the next 3 sundays to try and catch up on missed rounds. However, the weather here isn't looking favourable for this weekend. Keep and eye on the website or give Dylan a call Saturday evening.

he guys just scored a new losi xxxt rtr 4 $350 delivered so hopefully ill be out on sunday to do battle in electric truck class, if the wethers ok.

Hi guys thanks for a great race day yesterday the track was awesome considering the weather had affected a couple of areas. I will have to come back and race there more often, hopefully in the next few weeks!

SCORC-SECRETARY RETIRES
Hello all,
Unfortunately, I an no longer able to be the secretary of the "Sunshine Coast Offroad Racing Club" as I can no longer afford to put in the time and effort it requires and it would be unfair to the club to continue in this role if I can not put enough time in to do the job right. I will still remain a member of the club and race or practice when my schedule allows and I will continue to provide webspace for the club and maintain the club website. A new version of the site will be up and running in the near future. I guess I will have to change my nickname too.

Hi,
Im not a member of the club (YET), great to see one finaly on the sunny coast. Ive been waiting 4 one (an off road 1) to start up since racing in the carpark at maroochydore were the National bank is now!!(14 years ago) Ive still got my car (Schumacher Cougar 2 Team spec).
I am currently looking at getting in to 1/8 buggy, looking at Swift 2 pro (nanda/www.racing-cars.com) with an O.S 21 any one know what there like ???
I noticed that there is no CLASS for 1/10 2WD elct buggys, does anyone still race THEM !! back in the day thats all my club in Townsville ran!
(Mayb I could run with the 1/10 trucks no one allowed 2 run over me tho)

NEW TRACK FOR SUNNY COAST !!!
Hi,
just read about the plans for a NEW track, I was about to become a member and hopefully find some time to help the club out (admi/working b's e.c.t) "What good timing", I should be able to contribute some good ideas for a new track, Ive been into R.C for about 20 years, havent raced that much but Ive always had something "REMOTE CONTROLLED" for my spare time (Tamiya Hornet was first car 1986) so im keen to get back in to it just waiting for my 1/8 to get here and some Cougar parts, then ill be racing full time, ill try and get up this sunday to say hello to everyone
