First of all congratulations to Darren and Megan on the birth of their new baby boy.
Apologies to all for not being able to get to the track this weekend to help out due to other obligations. See you all at the AGM thursday night.

I think theres been enough ppl wishing Dareen and Megan congrats on the addition to the family so Ill say it again, Congrats guys. Looks like Darren might be breeding his own race team.

Love what you guys have done with the track, makes me soo jealous of what you've got to race on this year. Keep up the good work guys, ill be watching the nats online (hopefully).

Might have to buy a baja to have some fun with over here, hehehehe. All the best guys.

Hey guys.

track looks great.

But can i ask if anyone has tested the first back jump yet?

that down ramp looks a tad small, would sugest making it the same size as the second down ramp.

with so much kick from the launch ramp.. it will make hitting that down ramp very hard, and perhaps cuase a difficult marshaling spot.

what do you think.

Josh

After all the hard work everybody put in on the weekend, it really is a great shame to see every man, his dog, bmx rider & part time R/C hack has decided to start destroying the track already, its only monday.................. mite last until buggy nats if we are lucky.

It's always the way and unless the track was fenced off there isn't a lot you can do. Even fenced off someone would probably use the 'master key' to get in anyway...

But therein lies the problem... The sort of fence the we all wanted, the council won't allow and as its a public reserve, the fence must be open to allow all those track wreckers access to wreck the track.

Track looks good peoples... A panoramic shot would be good.

Congrats on the safe arrival, Darren.

Hey Fellas,
Two of us here in Port Augusta have carpet covered outdoor tracks which were all done for free. We asked the local carpet layer for any ripped up stuff and off cuts. They directed us to a spot behind their wharehouse. We always find new and old carpet there for free. Most of the carpet is 1800mmm wide but you do get all sizes. Plenty for pit lane. So in dribbling for so long, how about trying a carpet layer in Adelaide and hitting them up for nothing. They just throw it out anyway. Just a thought.
Cheers
