Racing is cancelled for tomorrow due to this weather.

For those who need a nitro fix.....Hobby Habit has 1/8 nitro buggy racing tonight from 5:00pm tonight.

Hey Guys,

Me and my mate about to get our nitro buggy/truggy ready again to join you guys in a month.

Got few Q's if one of ya's can help me out.

1) Do you also do electric buggy 1/8? If so rules? Battery mahs needed to finish race?
2) Do you guys do buggy 1/10 4wd or 2wd? mod or no mod? Any extra info?
3) How about short course 1/10?
Thanks.

1) There's never been the numbers, except for Events, to run EP8 Buggy as its own class but you can always run against the Nitro's. Rules in simple are 14.8V Hardcase lipo/s and with a 1900kv motor 5000mah is enough.
2)The track doesn't suit the smaller cars but there is a Club at Mitchell Park that race 1/10 2wd and 4wd Stock and Mod.
3) 1/10 4wd SC would most likely work at Morphett Vale but again numbers/interest haven't created the class.

Hi Vinno,
you are more than welcome to bring your 1/8 electric buggy/truggy and run in a class with nitro as Mick has mentioned, we have power at our club's power board, with extension cords available, the clubs trailer has air compressor to clean your cars also! We also have club transponders available for people who don't have there own. At lunch break we have Mark's BBQ available for anyone wanting a bite to eat, he usually does something special in the cake department too, drinks as well from the club canteen, There's lots of great guys to give you some advice if needed.
Hope to see you guys there racing soon.

RACING IS CANCELLED FOR TOMMORROW DUE TO WET TRACK CONDITIONS...

No surprise there with the rain we've had this week and today up there.

There will be no make up meet this weekend. Its a bit late in the day to organize one due to ppls having things already planned and now the rains have arrived again.

If club members would like to hold a make up meet if a rostered one is canceled then please contact a committee member.

Thankyou,

If anyone is interested we will hold a make up meet this Sunday. A few members are going to Canberra this weekend so if numbers are to low . We will run a timed practice meet.

Unfortunately are BBQ Man is going to Canberra, so either bring your own lunch or you can go to shops up the road.
Whether we race a meet or practice it will be good to get some nitro happening as its been a dry spell for a while

Cheers, Phil

Hi Lachie,
Make up meets such as this don't count towards the championship.
Some members have pre-arranged family commitments on our off weekends and
it would be unfair for them to miss out on points.
