Remember guys our track rebuild begins this weekend, as many hands as we can have both on Saturday and Sunday will be much appreciated!

Our goal is to create the best track possible for the members to race on, it is an exciting time at the moment

New Hudy setup station arrived last week, quite surprised just how much my truggy's were out of balance. When one side is 2mm out on the front, and same side rear out about 1.5mm, im guessing using hand measurement tools is just not accurate enough!! Now that ive set them up correctly, just looking at them on the ground, they look SO much better. GREAT tool to have !
If anyone wants to check there car on station, sing out,your welcome to use on a club day.

I would be willing to spend a hour on the track Sunday am, there was about 4 real problem spots last meet, with a wheelbarrow and scraper, quick whack and water it would come up well enough for a club meet.
A little time is all that's needed.
Count me in if there's enough heads!

In my opinion, the sweep and water was not enough to fix the track last meet - the track was rough for a buggy - the Kyosho took some nasty stacks (after hitting a few fist size rocks or digging into or slapping out of a hole).

Im not prepared to race on the track if it's like it was last meet - Ild give Sunday a miss. (Daylight savings is going to waste as the track is too rough to practice on - too hard on cars)

But if we put some time in repairing the track properly on Friday (as Mark has suggested) I'll try to get down by 6 and if we have to, I'm prepared to work until we run out of light so we can race on Sunday.

I gotta agree with bill there after watching the buggys get punished whilst marshalling.

I am willing to lend a hand from 4.30 to try and get a reasonable track together for Sunday's meet providing it wil be worth it with the result of numbers for the meet.

I bags the compactor lol

Tho I'll be cutting laps on the black top Sunday keep us informed on if/when track work is happening and I'll try come down. I do recommend 5 or more laps of watering until the surface go's glassy but no puddles before doing any shifting of dirt.
