That would be difficult as track is being resurfaced this weekend.

Don't forget this weekend is a working bee to resurface the track.

184 tons of clay is sitting on the reserve awaiting to put be down.

Bobcat will be there on Saturday and 2 on Sunday maybe a 3rd...? And a roller for both days

There is only a slight track adjustment to back section between the sky jump and the trees. Just extending track into the midfield more with a wagon wheel as the same as other one on the track.

And for those that where not able to make the drivers briefing at Sunday's meet. I put forward a suggestion to place a quad ( option 1 ) after the timing loop, similar to the one we have just more spacing between jumps 2 & 3. ( option 2 ) a double - double with long curve (swoosh) connecting jumps 2 & 3 which would give you smooth flowing jump section.

Feed back welcome,

I'd rather Option #2 as that would keep it a smooth flowing almost straight away.

Option 1 is my vote, this way we get the ability to go double double or quad, and with the spacing on jump 2-3 larger. This will make the 2-2 option flow better than our current quad.

I like the sound of option 2 a flowing double - double. We had that at the truggy nats. At Liverpool in 2010 on the pit straight and I thought it was cool. That's my opinion.

A quick note on the proposed straight revamp is that the first jump has to start around a metre after the timing loop and the last jump has to finish before Number 5 bay on the pit lane wall as this allows us spacing for the grid start, so your looking around at the 12 - 14 metre mark to play with.

The current Quad we have now is more designed for technical application as a double - double and flowing when you fly over.... You have too pretty much now wash all your speed off to be able to do the double - double correctly, where as a fly over will be quicker and give you the advantage...if you get it right.

Will there be any concern with cars that'll jump skewiff from time to time landing in pit lane where people will be refuelling?

Just a thought on the safety aspect...

The jumps will designed so that air time is kept at a safe level and being a straight section onto the straight all cars are pretty much lined up on the straight as there is quit some distance to enable the driver to correct his car if it need be. And if is necessary, the straight can be moved away from the pit lane wall as it is currently 5 metres wide, which would give a 2 metre buffer between track and pit wall.

To be honest.... you got a greater chance of getting hit by someone coming into pit lane to hot than by a car coming onto the straight to do a stretched double-double or a quad

All good. Was only a question, not a criticism.

I vote for the option 2 as a fast flowing double double, i think it would be a marshaling concern if it was a quad.
A lot of people still go for the quad thats there now when they cant make it, and thats after how long.

Hmmmm just a thought on sweeping double, will it create a blind spot for the quad , obviously placing of ramps are key here, tough decision option one or option 2
