yeah that was a bad call on my part, but just hypothetically speaking how would ppl go if we had a covered drivers stand, would you guys race in intermittent light rain like last meet when you got soaked due to no cover?

with a descent cover i'd probably still race in intermittent light rain, depends on how much mud was there, i went through a brand new set of clutch bearings & the brand new clutch shoes & clutch bell had a fair bit of wear after pushing round all that mud last race. hopefully the new RMV speed 3 clutch will bigt a bit harder.

With a cover i'd race in the rain. Monster trucks would be great to watch in the mud.

Until you have to clean it.

Unless it was the final of a state or national title, I wouldnt race in mud.

i ran the stock mugen clutch, with the 1.1 springs your engagement point will be high on the rev range. i run 1mm springs. i'm now running carbon shoes with 1mm springs, but with the new speed 3 i haven't had a chance to test it properly yet, so i'm not sure what i'll end up running.

i would race in rain if there was a cover for sure.mud is actually easyer to clean than dusty dirt, plus the airfilter stays brand new

hey paul i run alloy shoes and 1mm springs and its great.
new mugen hey jason, is that another mbx5 prospec?

I would not want to race in the rain again even if the drivers stand had a cover.
Not that i am worried about my truck getting wet or muddy, more about us poor marshalls that have to stand out in the rain and get sprayed with mud.

Default Bring it on!!!

Unless there was major rain, i will be out there racing, I quite like the mud.... all part of the fun. This is an outdoor sport so I belive you gotta take the good with the bad. I suppose its not called OFF ROAD RACING for nothing.(I do understand that buggy's may not agree so much)

BTW - There is a real easy way to keep your transmitter dry when it rains. just get an old shopping bag, punch a hole in the bottom for the ariel then slide it over the control and presto an instant radio protector.

Dont get me wrong, i'll race in light rain - the track actually gets grippier when its moist because the dust isnt on the surface to slip on. But if the rain was heavy and the whole track was mud - ill pull the pin on my race

Unless someone is voulenteering to clean my buggy top to toe
