I feel like the prodigal son cant wait to race u guys , my outlaw felt unreal today so good in fact that it may be enough to keep up with u really fast guys, but should be enough to beat david , also ran davids old sub 20 sec xray t4 outlaw with a touring body and rubbers and was impressed with how well his old outlaw setup handled the body and tyre switch to touring car with no adjustments, I will pursue this car, maybe put in a 13.5 or something.
cheers oldenuff

Hi Guys,

Is there racing this weekend? My Dad and I are planning on making the trip up from Wollongong. We both have minis, do you guys run mini? I'll also bring my 21.5, even though I haven't driven it in 3 months.

What are the details? Rego time? Race start? etc
Is there power? BYO Table etc?

Cheers
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

We do normally race every 1st and 3rd Sundays however due the Serpent Cup, we postponed the official meeting.

On club days, we do normally run 21.5/13.5/GT/GTe and have a following for Mini/Nitro (of 4-5) etc. Please let us know when you plan to visit next time so we can get our cars together to suitull class and have a class cater for you guys. We also have power (suggest to bring an extension), many chairs and a few limited tables (suggest to bring your own table just to be sure).

It was great to race with you all at IMCC and we plan to come down there too more often!

Look forward to it.

Kind Regards,
John

count me in for 1/12th, only question is which motor ? 4.5 t or 10.5 t ? i have struggled in the past there with mod motors, actually struggled period ! maybe a bit less power will help, either way i will bring both motors, also keen to run 13.5

10.5 will be the best motor to run, it'll still have a significant amount of torque & speed, but will be easier to drive then the 4.5.

Once you get to grips with the 10.5, bolt in the 4.5 and turn the punch level down in your esc to help you get used to the extra power.

Cheers
Rob.

Will start approximately 1030 with open track about 930am.

Dave: please bring your trophy as evidence and public display

thanks rob for the advice, i am off work at the moment so i took the chance to get to the track the other day, gave it a quick blow and let loose my 1/12th with a 10.5 motor on blinky, car was a little slow on the straight (about 21.5 sedan speed ) but for the first time EVER the car actually hooked up and drove well, i have spent time recently trying to get it right and it is looking like its about to pay off, less power definitely helped but also turning steering down to 40 % also did, now its time to add a little turbo and boost

cheers
oldenuff

P.S Will i cant make it on saturday but hope to see you with your 1/12th on sunday

P.P.S also looking forward to 13.5

P.P.P.S David is getting quotes for a trophy cabinet
