Come down man...The club is laid back and fun.Make sure you have 3 batteries like what Willy said but you can get by with what ever you have.You may want to buy a " Silver end bell 540 motor" thats like a starting off class but even some of us race in that too.Next step is a 'stock motor 'but that can come later on...any way bring down what ever and join in !!

i want to race, how reliable is lrp comp 07, 7.5 bonded, lipo, 2wd, in 37 deg. weather?, meltdown? matt cheese ray?

Money, and lots of it... just kidding. Maybe not???? if your hungry, Burgers are $2.50 with onions (2 slices of bread) and sausages $1.50 (1 slice of bread) sauce and bbq sauce availible... FREE

BTW,
I managed to persuade a bunning's guy to give me a shop-soiled edger with a 4HP four banger on it for $250, so I have put it on the roller cutters and will take it down the track tomorrow.

Hopefully the cutter system works, or I've blown my dough.

Anyway, motor hunt can stop now, not that the responses to my request were deafening

I thought you would have hooked up that LRP Brushless and the 501X to get your contraption going?

yeh i put a 19 pinion on like that dirty deeds guy did in racing line mag,
