Post Victorian Titles 2005 rules are to be ammended as follows:

1.) In order to compete you must hold a valid Victorian address.

2.) Must hold a valid Victorian Drivers License

3.) Own membership to Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Victory sporting clubs(Vic drivers excluded)

4.) Stringent refereeing regarding use of foam tyres. If driver or drivers expose a liking of foam they will have one lap deducted from their best time.

5.) Any driver with car purchased from interstate hobby shop will be allowed to enter event at discretion of race officials

6.)Layout of track will be changed round to round(and possible midrace). These layouts to be tested at club days for locals to get a 'feel'.

7.) Interstate drivers must visit at least 3 Victorian attractions. These include the Rialto, Melbourne Museum and Wobbies World. Presentation of valid ticket stubbs required when picking up tyres

8.)One way diffs are banned! As are IB cells-oooo controversial...

NB - We didnt want to not exclude interstate drivers so thought this a fair compromise.

Point (4) i assume you will have the appropriate testing equipment on hand to test for traces of foam dust

BK dont worry i know for a fact that deathgrip can be used as a masking agent for thie foam dust residue test

But the real question is, will the 1 lap reduction be enough to still set TQ?

haha good reply-right back at me!

This is of course presuming that you meet all the other criteria.

As for detecting foam dust-the newspapers normally report pollen/foam readings each day. They are unusually high when interstaters arrive in Vic. Causes hell for asthmatics. Not forgetting the stench also!

Hey Chris, Wobbies World is dead now. How about a visit to "Chris and Marie's Plant Farm"?

Also all NSWers found drinking Tooheys will be banned from racing without warning.

Default Tyres

Hi,

I was wondering how people are gunna manage 2 sets of tyres for mod for 10 races, especially wen sorex dont last in heat very well, letalone normal cooler weather. Has anyone thought about this?

It wont matter because its the same for everyone. Also not using traction compound is the first step to making them last longer.

I'm with BK on that one. I don't find traction compound makes much difference anyway.

I wonder if its legal to get the tyres "retreaded" or "reslicked" depending on which way you want to look at it...

On both but I've not raced Sorex much so haven't really tested it too much with those.
