You might be able to try frontline hobbies located in Newcastle, or my next bet would be at the Albury hobby centre, they carry a few TA/AE parts. Do you have the part number for the screw handy?

john h 09-29-2005 03:19 PM

The AE part # is 6573, comes with the 2 washers.

Samma3l 09-29-2005 03:25 PM

Well frontline dont have it, but Ive just found that Tower do have it for US$2.89 lol

RC Hobbies on Parramatta Road Petersham have it - $10.00. Just checked their web site. Ph: 9564 0822 (I'm not connected with them, but had an idea they might have it).

wow $10 for a screw, thats......

Molky 09-29-2005 04:58 PM

I think they are the same as the B4 ones, if they are I've got a spare one you could probably have. But it's VERY unusual for something to be missing out of an Associated kit, sure you didn't drop it?

the only problem ive had with my Mi2 rear diff wasnt the screw, it was the diff disc springs. because the diff came pre built it was over tightend causing them to break.

theres nothing rong with the diff screw

merc-blue 09-29-2005 05:33 PM

do u want a poll on what brand has the most REAR diff problems... trust me mi1 and mi2 have a stnadad rear diss problem of stripping that tiny rear screw or the trush bearing to be crappy

fixable problems but teh mi2 has bad rear diff all cars have there fault

I'm sure now that any lingering notion that R/C is cheap has now been killed well and truly for you

dude,

take the bolt and go to a bolt and nut supplier.

You will get like 20 of them for $10.

You are in sydney. Do a search on yellow pages for bolt suppliers.

I dropped into kellets and found an identical Tamiya one, "only its metric"

but it came with a nut (2 for $5) which did me

Thanks for all the help tho
