Default Putnam Propulsion Invades Australia

...Just thought we'd post here to help answer all the emails we've been receiving. Our products are now available through Arcadia Hobby Distribution in Australia. They have been aggressive in restoring the distribution of our products in Australia, and we will be working with them to insure that the entire Australian market will receive motors tailor-made for your racing applications...no longer will you have to settle for just average production/ average performance motors.
We will be stopping in from time to time to answer any questions you should have, and offer help in any way we can.
As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to post them.

Regards,
Todd Putnam

I went down to the Nationals Warmup meet yesterday, and was totally blown away by the speed of a car down there. A young lady was driving it. It was for sure the fastest stock motor there. Faster than the Br00ds, Kisbey, Kinetix etc. I am going to get one of these for the Nationals.

How do I read the dyno lables that come with them? What does it all mean?

All I have to say is that the Putnam brushes (green and blue combo) and the green/green combo) absolutely ROCK!!! Brings alive any stock motor you put them into.

RacerX: Thanks for the kind words. As for the dyno sheet, the info for that particular motor is all recorded on the print out. It inlcudes what the motor made for power, (watts) under each amp load. Higher amp loads simulate higher loads on the car, such as accelerating out of a corner. You can also use it to compare different motors performace at given amps loads. For sedans, look at the bottom set of walues, (@ 30 amps). It will tell you what the power is,(watts) as well as the torque, RPM and efficiency. For stock, you want more watts @ 30 amps.

dirtydog: Thanks to you as well for the endorsement. We focus our products toward the serious, performance-oriented competitor. Good Luck, and if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask...

Arcadia: Be sure to keep me posted on how we do at the Nationals...

Metro Hobbies in Box Hill have them for $10/pair. They're badged as Schumacher brushes though. One green brush and one blue brush per bag.
