Default 2005 RC Bathurst 1000

8th OCTOBER, 2005 BATHURST RC 1000. Entry forms available at PDNR registration, and from some of the LHS - Grahams and Auswide. Also from www.pdnracing.org.au

Last years event was a blast, dont miss out. Open to 200mm tourers 3 classes, Production (out of the box & RTR cars) Lite ( Pullstart engines) Supercar (Any .12 engine) Bodys must be a representation of a car that has raced at Bathurst. Dont show up with a Mazda 6 with flames.

3 rounds min qualifiers, which are worked out on points to end up with a mixed class 20 car 161 lap final. Last years event had a huge crowd of car nuts watching the racing & they want to see more this year.

We are working on having the VB girls to start the race & do presentations again & also having plenty of prizes.

More updates will follow as new info becomes available. Get your forms & send em in, you know you want too

As per entry form - 2 drivers are to be listed

Although you may have 3 people to a team this gives you the option of who drives and who is pit bitch.

Please note that teams will need to supply a MARSHALL when it is their turn to do so.

I live at Bathurst.
If I can help in any way just ask.
I have a huge shed which people can use to set up or store bits and if you want to bunk on the floor I can probably fire up the BBQ on Sat night.
I have spoken with Martin at the new RC car shop here and we are looking at trying to put together a local club. I hope it is up by the race weekend.
Look forward to seeing it.

we should both be racing in novice.

the bathurst race would be less distance for you to travel than penrith,
maybe they won't notice the 835 with a tourer body ?????

Thanks for the support. Will pass on the offer. Get a team together & join the fun. It would be great to have a local team/teams to compete against.

I see a team in the making here. "Ox's dangle racing"

You dont need a KV-1 the MTX-3 would be a worthy contender.

I live just down the road in Orange, and we have three teams together so far, so it looks like a strong local contingent to defend against the foreigners!

Yep with you westerners along with the Lithgow mob, it might be hard for the Penrith boys to take home line honours.

Can't wait to see you all there.

Don't forget to do the body up in the bathurst theme!!!!!

Default GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS

GOOD NEWS

The V.B Grid Girls will be back on the race day, so get those entries in.

Anyone that was there last year will tell you that having the girls there just tops off a great day, plus gives the boys something else to look at!!!
