Does anyone of anyone who provides a RC repair service in Melbourne
I have a Losi XXL that needs a few items replaced front (bell crank and CVDS)

I dont have the tools or the expertise to tackle the job.

Traction rc does not do repairs, only sales.

Buy the tools and give it a crack
It's part of the hobby
Anyone you meet in this hobby will do the work for you if you can source the parts.
It's gonna be no fun for you if you need to go to the local hobby shop everytime you break something, then they have to order in the part do the work then eventually hand you back your car only for you to break it again the next day.

Very generally if you break something buy 2 as replacements. When you use one of the replacements ask your local hobby shop if they have any next time your in. When they say no, but they can order it in for you say thanks anyway and order it yourself online.

Download the exploded view of your car.
Find, then google the part number.
You'll find the same hobby shop keeps popping up for the part numbers you put in. Open an account and bob is your uncle.
For me i'ts not about saving money, its about time spent without my toys.

Some advice if you do not have the assembly instructions which has part numbers in it google it and normally you can download it ( done myself a few times ).

As for expertise read the instructions and reverse it to disassemble then put it all back together just take your time. The important thing is you then get to know the car how to work on it, and good sense of achievement.

If not sure I am sure if you go to a local club and talk to the guys there would be people happy to help you to do it so you then find that you can do it and have more fun.
