Default Neon lit Madza Rx7 Xray T1FK

i just though of something really cool.

Get 4 clear or coloured christmas lights and on about 50cm of wire hook them in parrallel. then for power, hook them off your motor. i just tryed this and my whole car lit up. it gets brighter and duller exactly as the motor gets faster and slower. Heres a pic of me reving into a wall, all lit up like a christmas tree

Very clever idea, now all you need to do is manufacutre some and sell them as neon kits for some $$$

If you put your led's in coloured drinking straws like pink, red or blue (one led at either end facing each other) it will give the effect of looking more like neons and also spread the light out more evenly.

Cheers

Here's some super bright leds that I through together to show you.

The side ones are 5 mm 18,000 mcd super bright clear/white (clear to look at/white light) led's (probably 5 times brighter than your Xmas tree lights) and the rear are standard clear/red led's. Both are mounted in a piece of pink drinking straw.

I also use the 18,000 mcd led's for head lights on my trucks for when we have a night bash. They are slightly brighter than a normal cars low beam.

Cheers
