Know how you feel...

I was finding it pretty hard to concentrate towards the end which is probably why I smacked into those little disks so hard I broke a screw out of the front end

I had a fantastic night, most of the racing I could happily forget, I was miles off the pace, had random breakages like a servo, and melted the terminals off the speedy, used 2 cars and they both drove differently to each other, changed to new tires and the car became uber twitchy and almost undrivable with the amount of rear grip I had. The only person to have a worse night than me was Trevor, broke a rear pod brace and had the rear pod delaminate. Logan can be very unforgiving, but it will make better drivers out of us. I hope

Yeah great night, I too struggled as the night wore on & instead of hitting apexes started hitting blue disc's & barriers finally broke something in the car last final which pretty much made it un driveable.
thanks to the Logan guys for letting the circus come to town

Or does that mean I am not pushing hard enough

I think it means you and I were not pushing hard enough Adrian. I had rear grip to burn, but I did not have the confidence to be able to throw the car into the corners and not take out some polly pipe or cats eyes and launch the car through the air

I am with Timmy also, bring on the 3rd round of Sunny Coast. It will be a cracker.

I need to work on consistency - its still well over 1 second and thats (frankly) pathetic - no point being able to do a lap time once and then not being able to match it again for the whole race .

Car wise, I could dial in a bit more front grip so I can hold more speed through the long corners and I am still getting left for dead motor wise

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the Sunny Coast... so that's me done for a while

Thanks to everyone for a great night of racing. Thanks to LCRCCC for hosting this round, Trackside RC for sponsoring and Robert Powell for organizing the event.

The trophies are awesome and are really nice for a change. The atmosphere in the pits was that of a group of mates just having a good time. The night was packed with some nail biting races. My favourite was the one where Timmy, Clayton and Johnny all had a go at the lead. A well deserved win Tim. Congratulations to Mason and Nick.

Can't wait for the next round.

Ciao

It was fun to try 12th again after a long time with the Schuie Supastox. Best of luck with the series. I think the 10.5/blinky formula is just right.

For what is essentially a 2wd 12th scale tourer, the SuperStox is not a bad mid pack runner. A bit slow in the corners, but that is to be expected when you give away about 10mm on the front and 20mm of tire surface. Glad you brought it out for a run and I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Hey Guys, Logan have announced their interclub meeting on the 5th and 6th of April and it includes 12th scale as a Demo class on the Sunday. For the class to run we need a minimum of 5 entries, which we will make no problems at all. Johnny, Timmy, Richard and Myself are all confirmed as entering, and I know Snappa and Mason will be keen as mustard to come also. So, the class will defiantly run, now we just gotta get everyone else pumped to come and race.

Cheers,

Rob.
