Yokomo c3 is a good car takes a while to get your head round the frontend which seems over complexed but really it is rather simple.

biggest advanaage is the length of the rear pod plus the steering bellcrank smooths out the frontend. I swapped to IRS rear axle which is used on most of my cars but any old rear axle will work.

Have swapped to another car Zen RS which is doing rather well in europe and after driving can see why. Consider putting that on your list it covers rather a lot of what has been tested by myself over the last year in about 5 brands. The side and center shock make a car consistant battery at the rear for better rear grip plus a way better version of the CRC XTi rear pod height changer plus no incerts needed any more. The bellcrank steering designed to work over looking good.

So far it looks like these guys are the ones to beat at the 1st Round of the SEQ Tour at Sunshine Coast Radio Control Car Club.

12th Scale
1st Clayton Hughes
2nd Johnny La Spina
3rd Richard Chun

SSF
1st Richard Chun
2nd Graeme Cullen
3rd Sean McGrade

Photos of the Podium to follow shortly.
Here are the photos as promised. Hopefully they come up the right way :/

I have already had your names engraved on the trophies for the entire series, Jason, just preempting your awesomeness and skills as a driver. Clayton has no chance with you in the field. You and Sean will get special number 1's that use bold, italic and underline to express to the other drivers, that you are a champion HAHAHA

Good to have you kind of back from holidays, I know I am not the only one to have missed your bizarre sense of humor over the Christmas break. Everyone has been asking me where you are, like I somehow know everything

Mostly boring stuff - spurs, shims to let me adjust ride height better and a option carbon bit to replace a plastic bit on the suspension

Got some tyres too but they are experimental ones, not the ones I need for racing

There are some new tires on the market, Hot Race Tires, have just come out with 12th scale tires, Ace are the Aussie distributors for the brand, I wonder if they will bring in the 12th scale tires.

They have a 2mm offset and come in 25-45 shore ratings. RED RC LINK

Like all things RC, demand will dictate if they bring them in or not.

Not clear how large they are cut

Just a quick reminder that SSF is the support class for round 1 of the 12th scale tour at the Sunny Coast club. Trophies for first 3 on the day.

Finally got my SSF car back to the times i was doing with it back in Oct last year, with PB lap and race times in the first final at the Brendale all scales day, only to have to get the head back into 12th scale mode. My tourer drives like a whale compared to the 12th scale.

Cannot wait now till Sunday.

I know you won't, cause you don't have a 2nd receiver. LOL

Question is, who is going to win one of these at the first round.
