SMA Night Racing
 

Tuesday night racing is back in the Sydney metro area.

Sydney Model Autosports Inc. and the Jets Sports Club invite you to come racing Tuesday night.

Tuesday the 19th will be the Launch of the SMA night racing with the Road Rail track open for practise.

Official racing will begin the 2nd of August with the first point score to start late September.

The proposed classes for Tuesday night racing are the following:

GTP 19 turn (Sports car body)
Stock Touring car
V8 Supercar (540)
1/12th Scale
Mini
F1/ Leman

Keeping to a more Motor racing theme, we hope this may attract the old school crew, the Hurstville drivers from a few years ago to enjoy the great facilities at the Jets Sports Club at Tempe. Racing will be every second Tuesday.

Due to noise restrictions, there will be no Nitro racing at this time.

If you book a spot for the 19th, the practise night will only cost you $5.00. Please send a PM with your name and the class you would like to run.

The Track will be open from 5.30pm till 9.30pm on the night.

There are plenty of seats, however it is advised to bring a table and power lead. (We have three-phase power with 240v out lets).

like how many heats plus final? when will racing finish?

tall dude i think theres one less heat then weekend and 1 final?

Bring on Tuesday nights! Should be awesome. In my opinion, we have the best facilities to accomodate this and we hope people take advantage of it! 3 phase power, secure well lit pit area, transponder system, very car friendly road rail track, great driver's stand, and the Jets Sports club bar and Bistro!!

P.S. Just bought myself a Team Orion V2 19T. Cant wait to drop it in the seXRAY! ;)

With the luck we are having with sunday racing (ie lack of due to weather, sigh!) I think I will be down there with the mini for my fix of "RC".........

All hands on deck . . .

We need crew (6-10) to help this Saturday with the installation of the light fitting for the Tennis court.

If you can help, please be at the Jets Sports Club at 9.30am.

If you have a ten-foot extension ladder that we could use on the day please call me ASAP (0403 995 320)

If you have some metal ramps please let me know.

>We need to remove part of the fence to move the lift into the courts.

>The lift will need to be moved around the court area

>The fence will need to be replaced on the day

We will be working rain hail or shine as we only have the lift for this weekend.

so whats the go with transponders?????? can i use my AMB personal??????
