Default MyLaps transponder & RAB queries.

Hi all, looking at getting my own mylaps transponder.
To be used mostly at Knox at the moment what would be the best one to buy?
Just purchase the one with highest price tag????? ;-)
What is the difference between hybrid and the others?

Also in need of spares, looking at heading to RAB on sat. Have been through their website but everything I'm after is out of stock.
Does anyone know how frequent their site is updated with stock quantities?
Or should I just head down there?

Cheers
Lee

Lee, give Ren a call at RAB. He is a good guy and will be very helpful.

Hi Lee,

R.A.B. website is usually pretty good, but if out of stock and is available from aus distributors he will get in stock 1-2 days. Just give him a call before you go.

Any of the AMB or mylaps transponders work at knox & most of the vic clubs.
One of our ex members has a PURE Mylaps bnip on the forum fr sale at the moment ( HACKER ) for a good price

Cheers

Best bet is a Hybrid as it works with RC3 and RC4 decoders.

Good advice as if you do go to another club that's doesn't race with the latest computer system then it will not pick up the transponder.
