Default QLD Electric On-Road Titles

So, who's coming up for the titles and a week-end of fun and frivolity?

Tips on that Curve ball. Just don’t lead with your hands. Step forward towards the plate and keep your hips closed. Hold your top half weight transfer back and don’t pull the ball. Go opposite field and throw you hands at the ball with the knob of the bat. Just be patient and wait until the ball moves direction. Every thing should be fine and if he pitches the ball up you should get your first Opposite field home run.
If you see it out of the hands and you should see if the ball has the 20 cent shape red outline from rotation of the stitches, if not then you know he wasn’t thrown it right so the ball will hang and be up in the zone. Then pull the hell out of the ball and open your hips as it just becomes a off speed pitch.

Sorry I thought this was the Baseball thread.

The entries are starting to roll in at last.

Looks like a few from Mackay and some from Bundaberg as well as the local Rocky crew, also a couple from Miriam Vale and one or two from Townsville. Brisbane and Gold Coast crews making the trip are starting to swell in numbers as well.

All the Touring Car classes will be well subscribed in quantity and quality but I'm thinking at this stage that F1 looks a bit dodgy. if you were planning on running F1 and havn't entered yet please do so quickly so I can see if it's a goer.

Looks like the David Motel is going to be the hot spot.

could you remind them all that entries close on Friday and although there is a late entry possibility it would be really helpfull if entries could be in by Friday.

If posting to the PO box is too hard you could hand them to me. I will be at teh Ipswich offroad meet Saturday afternoon which would be fine.

OK guys the entries to date are up on the ORRCA web page
www.orrcaqld.org.au

If your name isnt there your entry hasn't been received yet .

I'll have a bet on the following

540 - Anthony Atack if his health allows
Stock - Justin Hughes
Modified - Michael Sherman

I may change my bets after the full entry list is known or after the results come out
