What a great day's racing, we had a good turnout of both short course trucks and 1/8 buggies and fun was had by all.

There was a couple of hickups at the start with race control but Andrew McInally came to the rescue and beat those slyfox gremlins down with his massive IT stick (Pitty about the truck though).

We managed to race 2 classes today with 5 races each (1/8 nitro & 1/10 Short Course)

1/8 buggy racing was taken out by Rob Baccari who just piped his father at the post, Rob had completed the most laps for the day but the fastest lap went to Paul Baccari with an outstanding 49.96 on a dry and slippery track.

The short course winner was.............EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we all enjoyed watching the electrics wizz around the track and everybody did a great job driving. Well done boys and girls

A Big thank you to everybody that helped throughout the day marshalling, you where all outstanding.

Next race meet will be in 3 weeks or so but keep an eye out here or Facobook for updates.

Hi Guy's

Any recommendations on what engine I shoulld run in my new MBX7 buggy?

I was thinking a Novarossi or OS but I'm finding it hard to decide.

I'll be buying a complete new setup so any tips would be great

Where having another club race day this Sunday.

Come along and join in the action with other racers. We will run from 9:30am until about 2:00pm.

Track will be open from 8:30 for nominations and free practice until 9:15 for final nominations.

Drinks and a sausage sizzle will be available as at the last meeting but, the sausages won't be donated this time.

Sausages on read will be $2.00 each.

Drinks will be water and softdrink at $1.00 each

The track will be in better condition this time as the rain has softened the dust plumes a little.

If anybody can help with the canteen or anything else PLEASE let me know as I will be on my own running this meet.

If it was Saturday it would be good for me but I am racing at Pine Hill's for the club meet on Sunday and alternatively Logan race the following Sunday's. Sunshine Coast previously raced Saturday nights which were generally a big event, (a lot more organisation, expense and preparation with lights and such) with the boy's from the other clubs coming up and then doubling up next day for there own club meets which is what I would do if the club meets didn't clash. Just thought I would let you know in case you weren't aware of a once functional and workable scenario, cheers good luck and have a great day Sunday

Alex, I should be able to setup race control - depending on my leave pass conditions...

Yehamon,
Check out facebook (via www scorc net au) for the updates. It is a bit of a mudpit at the moment, it'll need about 2 days of sunshine to dry it out. Club days are fairly casual at the moment we run 1/10 (mostly SCT) and 1/8 (mostly buggies).
