If youre keen to race it on-road, I`m pretty sure Penrith Nitro Club have a class for these at their club meets on a Tuesday night.

Are you on commission there, VWO?
John, as mentioned already, there's the Liverpool track which has a permanent off-road track which is nice and challenging apparently (I'm yet to visit it) and they have Monster Truck race meets once a month I believe.
There's also PDNR at Penrith - http://www.pdnracing.org.au -which have a road course in a car park and basically allow anything to run. I was at a recent drag night and took a heap of photos. Have a look at http://members.exetel.com.au/latestphotos and you'll see the surface and barriers that are used for the track. I've raced my 1/8 buggy there a bit.
PDNR is hoping to get a permanent off-road track, but this is the type of thing that can easily take a year to happen.
As for ALL the other tracks in Sydney, they are either strictly on-road or don't allow Nitro 1/8th scale vehicles. Some tracks, I think Castle Hill and St Ives(? on S.I.) let nitro stadium trucks in to play.
Next one is a club at "Redhead" which I believe is near Newcastle. They have interclub rounds with the Liverpool club.
So to sum up, formal racing for your big Nitro truck inside Sydney is only going to happen at Liverpool or Penrith.
I think you need to find a BMX track. There's frequent visitors to BMX tracks at Castle Hill (just down from the electric RC track), Bass Hill and Camden that I'm aware of.
Cheers, Oggy.
