Looks like a load of fun. I like the fact you can basically buy your own track and set it up in a backyard or undercover. Must make choosing venues pretty easy

Thanks Dan.
100 laps in 8 minutes is averaging 4.8 seconds a lap! I'd like video confirmation of that run!

Looking at a few more runners today as I know of atleast 2 new mini-z owners racing. It's going to be a good night.

Mr03 is the latest, but the Mr02 is still good and aleast $50 cheaper.

Don't forget the awd versions as well as they are also very good. Come for a watch so you can see it in action.

Awesome vids Ed. Another good night with a few more Mini Z owners on board. We will have a few weeks break before having another meet as I mentioned due to State Titles prep, also the 2nd set of tracks will be arriving. so will have double the size we have now.

With the 2 Friday meets we just had, we had 14 x actual Mini Z owners who attended and raced and some also owned multiple chassis (stock, mod & F1)
I also know a few guys considering purchasing so its really good to know that 1/28 scale presence here in Syndey is alive and will slowly increase over time.

great stuff guys..
I must smell bad or something.. cos the 1/28 scale Melbourne thread was started in 2009 and only has 26 posts, most of which are mine.

whereas this thread was only started in March... and almost has double the number of posts

anyways... tires... kyosho MZW38-20 in the rear and 20/30s in the front is spot on.. i think thats what the guys mention on the mini-zracer forums as well.

chargers.. if you don't have a charger from larger scale... these are pretty good..
c9000
reviewhere...

You can also get stuff from Gigspeed ... they have alot more than what is shown online. Just email/ring and ask. They can also order in from atomic if they don't already have it.

i'm really happy for you guys.. with 4 wide Ls, you guys can build HEAPS of layouts.. check out salt-lake miniz layouts.. with 4Ls, you can build all the 2L,3L and 4L layouts ~~

Thanks Dan. Looking forward to the next mini-z run, might upgrade my old MR-01 to something newer for the next meeting!
