Default Cut reciever cord

hey
i am using a jr xs3 and today acidentaly cut the reciever antenna. i soldered it in a feeble attempt to salvage it and it worked. I put the car at one end of my backyard and went to the other side about 30m and it worked.

Is this alright all wil i run into problems??

It will work, but id think about buying some data cable with cores the same thickness of your current antenna and make a new one (I think printer cable is the go, forget where i got mine now). Make the new one the same length as the old one was..

BTW - if you can't solder get someone who can to solder it onto the receiver - you dont want to cook your receiver

If you can drive ur car for more than 30 ft it should be fine however sometimes at race tracks certain electrical objects can cause inteference, This same experience happened to me and i got glitching everytime i passed a electrical pole. so its best of to replace the wire!
