My daughter has decided she wants to run SCT, so I'm looking for parts to convert her Hyper 10TT into a Hyper 10SC.
- Chassis
- F/R shock towers
- F/R chassis braces
- F/R bumper assy's
- Side pods
- Centre drive shafts
May even consider a complete roller.
Let me know if anyone can help me out.
Cheers.

Not trying to change rules or anything like that, in fact that would be crazy........
Just had a few enquiries for RTR vehicles and was thinking what is the most durable for a new driver but also something that can be competitive later on as they progress to the set classes.

Not trying to cut in on mister G's market here.. But another beginner car that was recently brought to my attention is the Hobao Hyper H2 2wd buggy, very cheap, and available pre-built either with, or without radio/esc/motor, or as a high level pro kit.
Obviously many of you guys use and know Hobao's high quality for low cost, but I had no idea this car was so upgradable so cheaply, and is able to be built out of the box in both mid mount and rear mount format. it's proven to work very well at the ARCR track already, as a new built (rear mount) car placed second overall in 2wd modified in the hands of Ash Frensham at the first meeting.
I was so impressed with it, I got one of the pro kits to run in a second 2wd class (21.5) along with my usual 2wd (mod) entry for club days here in Mildura. So damn cheap for how good it is, so figured I'd enjoy some more track time!!

I guess it depends on the beginners actual/percieved skill level. Buggy has higher skill level than SCT.
Indeed, weather looking ok.

Buggy is a little more difficult, but if it is a kid or younger person that is getting into the hobby with aspirations to compete at a higher than club level, then starting with ST or SCT can in some develop bad driving habits.
Not saying in any way that truck is a bad idea, as it's realistic appearance alone gets many people interested, but a trucks relaxed handling can make it more difficult to make the switch to buggy at a later time.

I think novice should be whatever you have. For kids to come off the street (future members) and drive like happened at the first meet it will be restrictive if it is one type of car.
Jess now has a slash and a 2wd buggy so not a big deal for her. The slash is running a HW 9T combo but I have turned it right down on the controller so she can control it. As she gets better I will add speed. When/if she gets to the point of joining an open class I will get her a car/steup to suit.
My idea of a novice class is to get the kids involved and give them a chance to develop as drivers until they are ready to slot into a open class. Going into an open class could be handled with a standard time being set for each class and once a novice exceed that time a set number of times they are no longer able to run novice.
Just my thoughts.
