2005 FEMCA 1/8th OFF ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP
Dear friends,
On behalf of Asosiasi Radio Model Indonesia (ARMI), we are pleased to invite you all to the first ever FEMCA Off Road Championship to be held in Indonesia.
This is the website URL address: http://femca.tq-racing.com .
ARMI has been working very closely with FEMCA - the Far East Governing Body as well as IFMAR - the World's Governing Body, to promote the use of R/C Cars and to organise racing with the further aim of promoting co-operation and friendship between countries. This FEMCA Off Road Championship has come at the right time as Indonesia is gearing up to host the prestigious IFMAR 1/8th Off Road World Championship in 2006.
We welcome all racers from all countries to come and participate in this great event, especially to those in FEMCA countries ( Australia , Brunei , China , Hong Kong , Indonesia , Japan , South Korea , Macau , Malaysia , New Zealand , Singapore , Taiwan , Thailand , The Philippines).
We will update and post new information the above mentioned website regularly and in the mean time, would like to inform you to please check the other sections on this site. Venue section informs details of the track, while General section provides information on how to get to the track, transportations, get fuel supplies, join in the banquet etc.
Gallery and Results sections will only be activated when the event starts. Drivers section will be updated as soon as we receive registration confirmations. Only written entries, received by email/ website's form with included entry fee, will be accepted.
Sponsors section will also be available as soon as we have more confirmations
Buggy racing is pretty 'big' in Indonesia. ARMI will have difficulties in setting up driver allocations for the local Indonesian due to the large number of interested racers. Only 100 (out of total 150) seats are allocated for local racers, which may be easily overflowed. As mentioned in the Rules section, there is a guideline system from ARMI to address this issue.
The remaining 50 seats are allocated for foreign racers. Judging from the early responses, this would also be comfortably filled up. We do not limit the number of racers from any country. We will also give priorities to foreign drivers in case the 50 allocation is filled up
So, book early to avoid any disappointment.....
