Default Wanted G40 Battery Charger

Hello all

I am looking to get a second charger with more capabilities then my existing one which is an LRP pulsar competition
I saw a blurb on rc tech in america about the 2 new eagle/integy chargers I think one was called a G40 it looked similar to the Futaba cdr5000 and the other model looked similar to the cdc charger it featured an intergrated motor test device
Also does anyone know of whom else maybe releasing a higher spec charger as i heard a Novak model is not far off also can anyone shed some light on the subject?
My current picking list is: FUTABA CDR5000, TURBO 35 GFX.

I would appreciate helpful advices.

just get a CDR5000 and a CTX seperate....that way when a better charger comes out you only need to upgrade the charger and not the motor checker.........or vice versa...

btw.... what if you wanted to check a motor whilist charging a pack??

also....disadvantage of turbo 35 is that it cant monitor individual cells.......doesnt matter whether it has motor run-in or not...cuz you'll have the CTX to do that for you...

btw, how did your TC3 rockcrawler go?

Thank you for the advices Nam.

The Rockcrawler project never really took off the rear diff kept leaking and finally gave up on a climb in Canberra. I sold the remains to some punk kid I think his name is arian or oreo... LOL. ( I hope your real crawler is ok and wont cost u too much )
That is a valid point in regards to checking the motor whilst charging.
Btw Is the cdr 5000 backlit?

Thanks in Advance
