Default Great News!!!

This is great news for everyone on the Coast who has been looking for a quality track to race at.
We envisage running both 1/10 an 1/8 scale buggies and truggies, as well as 2wd and 4wd short course and possibly stadium trucks if the numbers are there.
Remember that this will be a somewhat temporary set up until such time as the GCCC gets on board with a permanent location ( I believe we are well on the way with this )
If you have difficulties with the membership forms on the website, don't hesitate to PM Darren (DBL15) or myself and we'll sort you out.
This is a very exciting time for RC racing on the Gold Coast so we hope you'll all support us.

Great news guys.
As an etruggy driver I'm glad to hear of an 1/8 electric track in SEQ.
Would love to race again in a full field of etruggys.
It's very competive as they are damn easy to drive fast.
I'll be there for the first race for 2012 for sure.
Any thoughts for MT. There are quite a few eMT drivers floating around in Brisbane that would be keen for a run down there.

Hi Mick

anything is possible with number and support mate , i would think the monster trucks would run with the Truggy's unless there was enough of them for there own class
we wont know what classes are confirmed until we get racing with numbers and see whats most supported

at this stage with the numbers that we have been talking about it would be the following classes to start with
1/8th Buggy
4x4 SCT
2wd SCT
1/10th 4x4 buggy

then if numbers turn up
1/8th Truggy (you know i will be pushing for the guys as there so much fun)
1/10th 2wd buggy
and maybe staduim truck and monster trucks if numbers and support is there

we wont be able to confirm any of this though until track is built and race days are on and people are supporting a electric off road club on the gold coast

Thumbs up Nice one

This sounds great guys, as a new short course driver this will be a lot of fun for new drivers to drive on a bigger track.

Thanks Jamie for the text, much appreciated for the news.

I will be spreading the news to get more numbers.

Rock on
