Default Best Protoform Body

Which protoform body is the best for rear grip at low speeds?

I would probably say either the Stratus 2.0 or the Nemesis. (Nemesis is not legal at major events)

i prefer the mazda6 over the others. It has been tested and i think is the best tc shell for lap times and down force. i think the nemisis should be legal because it is a realy nice car to drive with, nice cornering.

i would say buy the mazda.

well i haven't tried the stratus on electric so i just assumed it would be ok.
I have tried both Mazda6 and nemesis, and nemesis was better on rear grip.

but just remember that the nemsis isn't legal at big events so if your thinking of using the shell for small and big meets u should go with the mazda 6. if this isn't your intentsions just go for the nemisis

Personally I would take a Stratus 2.0 over a Mazda 6...

I race on a fairly tight track and the Stratus seems a bit more balanced overall

I am looking forward to getting a caddilac soon though

I like the alfa seems to work for me, I have tried a stratus but i think i got used to the alfa so the stratus felt weird.

Cheers,

Mossie

For nitro ive used Stratus (1st one) then Stratus 2.1 and then Mazda 6 and all i can say is the Mazda is the best by far!

but it also depends on the track you are racing on

For Eastern Creek i recommmend Mazda 6

It all really depends what your looking for. It can't make a bad car good but can make a good car better. What might work on one track might not work on another. Just like car setup.

The Nemesis really only gives you more rear end because it takes away steering. And the Mazda gives you more steering, while the Stratus is balanced.

So just because the Mazda feels wrong (you might aready have too much much steering for the body) at EC it might be a lot better for places like Castle Hill or vice vera.

To get back to the first post I really think your problerm is in car set-up because your talking about low speed traction So the body is not really doing much, what you need is mechanical grip not Aero grip.

Coxy.

Ditto....

Body has no real effect at low speed.... But has a bigger effect than you setup will at high speed.

Mid speed is a combination...

As fas as your body goes, try using an alfa and a stratus back to back. The alfa has more downforce but both have even balance.

I find the alfa feels good to drive with good laptimes, mazda goes quicker but a little less consistent, and stratus feels like it has no steering but produces good race times.
