Hi, would anyone know if the tamiya body sets fit the corally range of F1 cars? Front and rear wings included.
I would like to fit the MP4/5 set if I can.
Cheers

They fit the previous car. The Corally used to sport a Tamiya Benetton body in its advertising pictures.

Does anyone know where I could get decals to make a 1990 Ferrari F1? There doesn't seem to be a sticker sheet available but most of them are pretty common logos

F1 Paintlabs have 3 lots of Ferrari decals: F2005, F2012 and 643, and a whole lot of others:

Original Tamiya decal sheet is available from UK ebay store vintage-tamiyaparts but they are pricey.

Click on the decals link.

I have purchased three sets of original Tamiya decals from this seller and all arrived in good condition.

The 643 livery from Paintlab would be close, I don't remember Ferrari changing their liveries/sponsorships much in the early 90's. IMO I wouldn't use vintage Tam Decals on a race body, They cost a fortune and end up getting trashed.

Had our first run of F1 last night. Only 3 entries, but a 4th was sitting in the pits, and there's at least 2 more under construction in the factories. It's a bit of a challenge coming from 4WD touring cars, but fun! Finding the right tyres for our carpet is half the challenge, Bring on the good times!

BTW, talking of bodies getting trashed, I don't think I'll bother painting the front wing end plates on my next body. Let's just say, they no longer have paint on them

Vinyl is a much better option

Thanks guys, I think between the 643 and 2005 ones I should have most of the required logos

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of getting into F1 but i'm not sure of which chassis to buy so i'm looking for some opinions. I like the F104 Pro V2, the new 3Racing F113 looks interesting too and there are obviously others out there also, so what do you think guys?

Cheers

The F104 Pro v2 is a really good car.

Check out our F1 buyers guide for a run down of all the chassis, including reviews of most, and recommendations.

Thank you for the tips. After reading your buying guide i'm leaning towards the F104 Pro W or the F104 Pro V2. The Tamiya kits are popular at my club along with some from 3Racing but I think i'll go with Tamiya.

Thanks again
Cheers
