Fantastic - so much better than a 3 speed mechanical that we were using at the time. Revolutionary.

Thumbs up Big Wigs at Boondall!!!!!!

Looks great.

I'm glad that I could help. I love the Big Wig and untill you drive one you will never know how good these are. Mine feels better then any of my Shots to drive with more grip all round.

Front arms are in my track bag for next Sat Darren.

Default lets have a look inside shall we...

started to check out the Big Wig here's a couple of pics of the rear gear box I haven't cleaned anything yet, it's very clean inside but I'll clean that grease out and get the Cera grease in there instead.

Thanks it's 100% original mate was even lucky enough to get the Technigold with it to. Hopefully Tamiya get their s!#t together and re release these!! starting to get the very few items I need so I can run it and I can't wait either. I reckon the hardest part about it is to try not to copy Madracers Big Wig the way that ones finished I think that's how they should have been made standard. See ya at the track big fella

Hey guys

I had a couple of these back in the day. Used to beat Mario and Heavy with 'em.

Love your thread...read it all the time.

Had Tamiya Super Champ, Kyosho Scorpion, Tamiya Frog, Hotshot and RC10.
Raced in Aus Titles at Lawnton Showground (circa 1981). Hazy about the year...a long time ago!
