Anyone at the track this Saturday, good chance I'll be out that way for a couple of hours, or have I got the offweek again ?

Gday Heavy this is our off week. Gotta catch up with you to get some tyres for my Super Hotshot. I won't be able to get out there this Saturday either. Next time.

Maybe. I still haven't painted it and I might just get a neo to thrash instead...

I just looked at all of the clubs. It looks like everyone except for pine hills runs on the same weekend. Unfortunate, because I'll probably be at Chargers...

No no binding, it's weird, it nearly sounds like a frog gearbox when the diff gears ware and you get that clicking under heavy load!!
Hey I got one of those 3500kv setups a while ago, I was going to put it in the Neo, what's a 3500kv in turns??
$49 delivered with speedy, motor and program card..... Thought it was worth the punt!!
Cheers,
Foggy

Oh by the way, the Neo is going together nicely!!

Well, an 11.5T SP v3 sensored is 3500KV and 23A, so I would think it's in the same ballpark (from memory the SP 3.0s was 24A? I chucked the manual away...)

Should have more torque than an ezrun as it's a 540, not a 380 can with fins...

Hey Foggy.

I assembled my Fox gearbox without one E clip on one of the drive shafts. It felt fine just a little rough like a Frog gearbox. Fox man picked it up before I ran it so I didn't hear it but you may have done the same. The gearbox are very free and buttery smooth with the Re re.

Yep Neo has arrived. What a awesome kit this is for $155 posted with the upgrade Alloy prop shaft, Alloy centre out put shafts and Alloy motor mount.

We now have 5 neo's being built for Boondal.

Foggy can you make it if we change Sat around to allow others to make it that race on our weekend ???????? Would make sense.

Heavy let us know when you can make it too. We all need some goods ( Cat Tyres and 32P pinions) from Action R/C.

Probably go out tomorrow for a run with the Holiday Buggy - it's been way too long. Can't make next weekend as have to be in Toowoomba for 4 days. Try and get to the next one. Can always mail order/Paypal.

Default Neo Is a Grass Hopper build!!!!!!!!

Have to go out to do some shopping but this was done in 3 hrs.

What a great well design buggy this is. The easiest 4wd ever to put together.

I will be at the boats Heavy sometime tomorrow.

Hope to see you then.

Default A Neo is here!!

I got it done, although the white stickers on the body gave me some grief I found out after I started that there's an order when putting them on but after a few laps I don't think it's going to matter to much. I can't wait 'till next week so this weekend i'll break it in. Who else will be ready?...

You would be better off coming to chargers which is a well structured RC club with REAL competitive racing...

Neo's are really designed for bashing for 7 yo's as a 1st RC car! Lol

If you guys want to change weekends to get numbers it makes sense, I'm only one person!
I'm up at work on the off Saturday so I can't make it, but saying that I don't think I will be on this roster for to much longer???
Its all good with me if the other Saturday suits everyone better.
Cheers

Looks like I won't make it today after all - have to try for one of the regular Saturdays, as an aside from one who rarely makes it - makes sense to me to run on the week opposite Chargers.

Half way through doing a steering mod on my Hotshot, find I need 2 x 3mm step screws if anyone has any spare I could steal or buy - or knows where I could get some

Dave I should have the step screw you could have...

Yeah We will change the weekends in time to come. For now it suits most of us.

I race on Sundays so it will be a full weekend but that's just me.

See you soon.
